Z would have killed me, but justice was delivered. Heh.

Yesterday was a LONG day- went out with Tim the night before, got to bed at about 3a, woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep at about 6:30a (probably with leaving that day, and all the activity that night, etc.). Anyway, going to class, and getting out of there was something I was looking forward to.

My flight was at 7:30p, so I got there at about 4:30ish, and figured I’d read my book, an people watch (always good fun). I get there to find out my flight was delayed until 8:30p, so I was stuck for a bit longer. No biggie. The time went fast, I was just mega tired.

The flight was packed, but I got to sit at the bulkhead between two guys (one being quite a knucklehead) - saying to me when I took the seat out loud “I was hoping you’d be some tall woman with 36D’s”. Unbelievable. So across the aisle were two barely 21 year olds that got on and were completely obnoxious- obviously had too much to drink, and were waving dollar bills at the stewardess as she gave the safety briefing. They were yelling at them like some guys would at a strip club - “ow!”, “that’s SO hot!”- stuff like that. Anyway, the older stewardess was not happy with them- as she stood behind their bulkhead, she was giving me looks of disgust at what they were doing. I felt so bad for the stewardesses.

So it gets better as the flight goes on- the one girl falls asleep (she was making most of the noise), and things are pretty quiet. As we start our decent, I see the older stewardess go to the awake 20-something asking if a closed bag on the floor was her trash. She took a glove, and picked it up like she was holding a dead animal. Later, I hear this noise from across the aisle “ughhh……” “blawwhahhhhh….”. I bend over to see the girl is now awake, and vomiting in a little bag. Nice. Of course during all this, the stewardesses are both looking at me, VERY upset, but having a lot of professionalism in that they treated the misbehaving girls with some decency. Ten minutes later, things stop, and we’re about 5 mins from landing. The better of the two was telling the sick girl “Oh, it’s okay- you’ll feel better, <insert excuse here to justify vomiting on the plane>”. I was pretty pissed.

So here’s the good part. So we land, taxi, and the seat belt lights turn off. The stewardesses are in front, still fuming from this ordeal, and I take a dollar out of my wallet as I’m standing over the sick girl and say “hey- here’s a dollar for your performance”, and I toss it on her lap. Everyone around me was somewhat shocked that I did this, and a few smiled and laughed at what I did.

They go off ahead, as I went back to get my bags. The steweardesses were laughing under their breath at what I did, and I look to them and said “it looks like she took the dollar, I’m so sorry- I hope you have a better evening”. They gave me a warm farewell, and I go home.

Who knows, maybe that girl that vomitted will think twice before she desides to act like an ass in front of people again.

Either that, or you could pull the “miss, you forgot your bag” trick on her, and ‘accidentally’ spill her airsick bag on her.
