Three not so fun days
Wednesday, May 11th, 2005Colds aren’t so bad- they are more of an annoyance. So, for the last… 6 days or so, been having something, and finally it really hit Saturday evening during my mom’s birthday dinner at my sister’s house (it’s amazing how my sister can ruin an evening with her ugliness, but whatever). Sunday really hit hard, and was in full swing Monday and Tuesday.
Oh, so I have to back up- I think it was Saturday morning at about 5:30am, and I could hear growling coming from outside my sliding glass door. Sounded like cats growling. Great. I open the blinds, and look out, and I could see both my cats blocking in two huge raccoons in my courtyard. This is NOT good- raccoons are vicious, and I couldn’t do anything to intervene. If I spooked either, they could attack, and I would have a big mess on my hands. I went to the other side of the house, and turned on the light, and for some reason, one of the (more…)
